Dave Griffin
Ever
since 1997 when I naively e-mailed Dave White after seeing his info
online regarding looking for musicians and I asked him "Do ya need
a singer?", some incredible opportunities came my way. The most
special was being asked to take part in the Heepsteria Tribute album,
ultimately recording a version of "Rain" with Ken Hensley on
keys.
![]() That was actually icing on the cake after
meeting some of the finest people around, people who I could share my
love of Heep music with. It's a rare feeling to share that love
with others onstage and in the audience at different Heepventions -
others who feel EXACTLY the same about the Even tho I haven't been as involved in
the Heepster happenings in the last year and a half as I once was, the
memories and experiences I've had will last a lifetime. I think about
them and the people I've met very often. And for me that's what it's all
about. |
